God has created people for relationships. We believe a church, as it grows larger, must provide an environment where people grow together in smaller groups.
Small groups at FBC provide this connection. These groups offer an environment where people connect into growing, thriving relationships with God, His Word and people. It is our desire to connect 100% of the FBC family into small groups. All of the FBC small groups have been created around a set of values:
- Interactive Bible Study
- Fellowship
- Caring
- Service
- Authenticity
Each value translates into a role for one or more members of a small group. The brief descriptions below will be helpful in determining which role would best fit your SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality & experience). Values-based groups prevent group hosts from bearing all the leadership burden and calls others into taking ownership of their group.
How To Connect in a Small Group:
1. Attend Connecting Point. At Connecting Point you will develop relationships with others as you discover what Fellowship values and calls people to as a church.
2. Find a group at groupLink. This is a two hour event that is designed to help you find a small group.
