SKSK: THE SPIRIT AWAKENS   |   May 26th-29th & June 2nd-5th   |   8:30am-3:00pm   |   $55
Super Kids Super Kamp is a camp for kids going into 1st-6th grade.  We offer four different training courses: Dance, Art, Outdoor Sports (for children entering grades 3-6), and All Around Sports.  This summer we will be offering 2 separate weeks for camp. The weeks we are offering will be May 26th-29th and June 2nd-5th. Please choose the week that works best for your family. We ask that you register for just one week of camp at this time, this allows everyone the opportunity to  experience camp. This is truly one of the best weeks of the year, and we're excited for your kids to have fun while growing in their relationship with Jesus!

This year, FBC is offering a summer camp just for Base Campers!  This camp is for 3 and 4 year old children who are currently attending Base Camp in either the Under The Sea or Safari room. We're excited to see what God does in the lives of our little ones! Click here to register your camper.

Good Friday is the day we remember the price Jesus paid for our redemption. He laid down His own life to save us. Come Enter The Story with our church family, and let us remember together what Jesus has done for us in a special time of worship through teaching, singing, and communion.

Join together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with our church family and hear the True Story about Jesus! Our three identical Easter services will be at the Topeka Performing Arts Center. We will also have full Mountain and Nursery programming for each service time. Don't miss it!

Finding Hope is an evening dedicated to the pastoral care of those who are facing life-issues such as divorce, death and grief, abuse, co-dependency, addictions, self-control and boundaries. It is a network of small groups that provides encouragement and hope, seeking to enrich relationships. RE|ENGAGE   |   Summer 2015 Term: Tuesdays, June 9th - July 21st   |   6:30pm
Re|engage is FBC's marriage enrichment ministry! Marriages in any condition can benefit, whether struggling to get along, broken, or the couple simply wants to grow closer together. Re|engage examines God’s design for marriage and applies principles from the Bible to guide couples towards growth in their relationship with each other. For more information click here.

Single Purpose is a ministry of FBC calling and equipping single men and women into a relationship with God, His Word, and people.  Single Purpose is continuing with a new four-week study led by Pastor Joe Hishmeh.  This is a great opportunity to form Godly relationships and connect into ministry here at FBC.  -- Click here to register.

Join us the second Saturday of every month as we love the people of Topeka. We have outstanding opportunities to share the love of Christ with our community. LOVE TOPEKA!   |   Hi Crest Community Events
As a ministry of Love Topeka, we volunteer in Hi Crest, one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in Topeka. Several events are offered to give neighborhood residents opportunities to enjoy fellowship and build relationships. WITNESS   |   Every Other Month
Witness is a year long curriculum that meets every other month and is designed for individuals to be trained and equipped to live and share their faith clearly, confidently, and compellingly. There will be six training sessions throughout the year in addition to accountability, reading, and assignments between the group trainings.  Participants will choose to either attend training on Saturdays at 6:45 pm in the Loft or Sundays at 11:00 am in Adult Classroom 3 for a one hour session. DOXAZO MISSION TRIP   |   August 2nd-6th   |   Avondale East School
Be a part of the great commission and attend the Doxazo Mission Trip here in Topeka. The trip will be August 2nd - 6th and individuals will have the opportunity to love and serve the children and communities of Hi Crest and Central Park. The four service opportunities for the week including helping with Doxazo Camp, helping with Bridge Camp, restoring houses in Hi Crest, and serving at the Topeka Rescue Mission.  The trip cost is $100 until June 1, 2015. After June 1st, the cost will be $125. Serving at camp, restoring houses, serving at the Topeka Rescue Mission, daily worship, listening to Godly speakers, small group time, and fun activities are a few of the many opportunities happening throughout the week. Participants will have the opportunity to spend the night at Avondale East and will shower at the SW YMCA. Partial scholarships are available.

Join us as we kick-off our new series, Jesus, through the book of Hebrews. The Well will be a twice - a - month study for college students to grow in God's word and interact with fellow students.

This is a night for all high school girls to come together and celebrate who God is and encourage one another to run with perserverance the race He has marked out for us. We will talk about the people, places, sufferings, passions and gifts in each of our lives that can be used for our good and His glory. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to deepen your relationship with God and the girls around you. Cost is $10.


TRASH MOUNTAIN MISSION TRIP   |   Jul 20th-27th  |  SANTIAGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLICWe are returning to the Kids with a Hope site with TMP this summer. Our students who are currently in grades 8-11 are able to apply to join us as we run a kids camp in Santiago where we build relationships and share the Gospel with the children in the Cien Fuegos community. We are going back to Camp Barnabas this year! This is a powerful opportunity for our students to love and serve other teenagers.

Children's baptisms will be held at the On Belay services ​following each church service the weekend of April 11th and 12th.  Invite friends and family to see your child proclaim their faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.  Please click here to let us know your child would like to be baptized, and we will contact you to set up a time to meet with your child.


MOUNTAIN TRIP   |   June 18th-21st & June 21st-24th   |   Mt. Sherman, CO   |   $200
The Mountain Trip is just around the corner and it’s time to start registering! Our first trip will be for our female Mountain students and their parent, and the second trip will be for our male Mountain students and their parent. The cost is $225 per person, but if you register by April 1st it will be $200. 


BROWN BAG STUDY   |   Fridays   |   12:00pm   |   2214 SW 10th
Busy women meet weekly for one hour of study and sharing, growing loving relationships with the Lord and each other. They meet from Noon to 1:00 pm in central Topeka for those women who desire to come on their limited lunch time. For more information email Fran at fmiller@fbctopeka.com.

30 DAYS TO UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE   |   Wed, Mar 4th-Apr 8th   |   6:30am   |   Loft
Understanding the Bible in 30 Days introduces you to key Bible characters, geography, and events in chronological order so that you can "think your way through" the entire Word of God. Through interesting, memory-enhancing exercises, Understand the Bible in 30 Days acquaints readers with the core teachings of Scripture in just 15 minutes a day! This study is for anyone newer to the Bible looking for the real facts and structure of the Bible. Think of this as Bible 101 and a great way to get more from your daily reading.  To register, click here.


FBC MEN'S BREAKFAST  |  Sat, Apr 18th  |  8:00 am  |  Fellowship Hall
Come and join the men of FBC on Saturday, April 18th at 8:00 am for a Men's breakfast. Dan Meers will be speaking. Dan has been “KC Wolf”, the mascot of the Kansas City Chiefs for over 25 years. In 2006 he was inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame. His enthusiasm, optimism and love for life are contagious.

Then, if you ride a motorcycle, stay after the breakfast for a safety clinic and a morning ride with Jeff Whisler and Pastor Frank Eschmann.

Also after the breakfast is an opportunity to volunteer to serve as an usher or help distribute communion for weekend services.  David Price will be conducting a training class immediately following the breakfast.
