If you would like to schedule an event, request an FBC facility, or promote an event at FBC, please click here.

Events need to be scheduled one month in advance.  Please note that your event is not not guaranteed and you will receive an email once approved.

BAPTISMS   |   SEPTEMBER 20 and 21   |  Following each service  
Invite friends and family to see you proclaim your faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ through baptism. If you would like to be baptized, we ask that you sign up below. Baptisms will take place following each weekend service on September 20 and 21 in the Worship Center. -- Click here to register.

FINDING HOPE    |   Tuesdays, September 9th to November 25th    |   6:30 pm
Finding Hope is an evening dedicated to the pastoral care of those who are facing life-issues such as divorce, death and grief, abuse, co-dependency, addictions, self-control and boundaries. It is a network of small groups that provides encouragement and hope, seeking to enrich relationships. For more information on all the groups and to register, click here.

RE|ENGAGE   |   Tuesday evenings, beginning September 16th   |   6:30 pm
Re|engage is FBC's marriage enrichment ministry! Marriages in any condition can benefit, whether struggling to get along, broken, or the couple simply wants to grow closer together. Re|engage examines God’s design for marriage and applies principles from the Bible to guide couples towards growth in their relationship with each other. Participants can also expect to receive encouragement by hearing stories from other couples that have experienced victory in the midst of hard times. Participants are also placed in a small group with a facilitator and other couples to work through a 16-lesson curriculum.  No registration is needed - just show up!  For more information click here.

Sharefest is a network of Topeka churches and organizations working together to serve others and to demonstrate the love of Christ to the community. Sharefest was created with the belief that churches can do more together than any one church could do separately to reach out to its community. This year we will serve USD 501 by landscaping, painting, and cleaning up the grounds of area schools. Registration is open to individuals as well as small groups. Join us the second Saturday of every month as we love the people of Topeka. We have outstanding opportunities to share the love of Christ with our community. LOVE TOPEKA!   |   Hi Crest Community Events
As a ministry of Love Topeka, we volunteer in Hi Crest, one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in Topeka. Several events are offered to give neighborhood residents opportunities to enjoy fellowship and build relationships. The events take place at Avondale East School located at 455 SE Golf Park Boulevard. Click here to sign up to help.

Abandon is an opportunity to gather with fellow high school girls and run our races alongside one another, learning to fix our eyes on Jesus as he writes and perfects out faith. FATHER/SON CAMPING TRIP   |   October 10th-11th   |   $10   |   State Fishing Lake
Ready for some outdoor time and fellowship with your son, grandson, or any boy you’re a father figure for? Well, then come to our 1st ever FBC Father/Son Camping trip at Shawnee Sate Fishing Lake, located just 15 minutes north of Topeka. Please join us Friday, October 10th at 6pm till Saturday, October 11th at 10 am. Dinner will be provided and consists of a hotdog roast, followed by toasted marshmallows and smores. Saturday morning breakfast will also be provided. Activities will include but not limited to yard games, fishing, and fireside speaker. Cost for event is $10 per adult and attendance is limited to first 200 total attendees.--Click here to register.

BROWN BAG STUDY   |   Fridays   |   12:00 pm   |   2214 SW 10th
Busy women meet weekly for one hour of study and sharing, growing loving relationships with the Lord and each other. They meet from Noon to 1:00 pm in central Topeka for those women who desire to come on their limited lunch time. For more information email Fran at fmiller@fbctopeka.com.

WOMEN'S TUESDAY BIBLE STUDIES   |   September 9-April 14   |   9:30 am and 6:30 pm
Join us for an exciting year as we journey through the book of Acts and study how the early Church, through the power of the Holy Spirit, carried the gospel across the Roman Empire. Together, we will gain a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit's work in our own lives, and we will grow through excellent teaching, participating in fellowship and discussion with other women, and discover new insights in God's Word. This study will run through the Autumn and Spring semesters. There is a one-time fee of $35 that covers the materials for the entire year.

9:30-11:15 AM, Morning Study:
Childcare for ages 0-6 is available on a first-registered, first-served basis. Anyone requesting childcare must register before attending study to make sure space is available.   Click here to register for the Morning Study.

6:30-8:00 PM, Evening Study:
