50 Days with Jesus   |   Online Devotional

"50 Days with Jesus" is an excellent opportunity for a new believer or anyone to be engaged in an online daily email devotional for 50 days.  This devotional is designed to give you encouragement and perspective. Plus, you won’t be alone. Through social media and in person you will be able to connect with us as well as with others on their walk with Christ. Please note that you will not be added until the following Monday.

OVERFLOW
Overflow happens four times per year. It is open to anyone from any denomination. Many people from many churches come together to make these evenings happen. So please join us for a time to reflect, celebrate, and Worship our God and Savior. Childcare is available for ages 0-36 months. Click Here to checkout Overflow on Facebook!

BAPTISMS

In June baptisms will be held Saturday, June 15 and Sunday June 16 following each worship service. Invite friends and family to see you proclaim your faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ through baptism. If you would like to be baptized, we ask that you sign up below. The baptisms will take place after each weekend service.

Finding Hope   |   Summer Term - June 4th  |  Tuesday Evenings  |  6:30 pm

The special summer term of Finding Hope begins June 4th!  For 6 weeks we will journey together through Life's Healing Choices, a study that will help all of us make better choices.  Written by the founder of Celebrate Recovery, John Baker, this study is for anyone dealing with hurts, habits or hangups that have affected relationships and made life difficult.  If we are honest, that describes all of us in some way!  Life's Healing Choices can help.  Each week we will spend study time together and then divide into smaller, gender specific discussion groups where we can help one another on our journey.  To register, click here.


Finding Hope   |   Fall Term - September 2013  |   Tuesday Evenings   |   6:30 pm

Finding Hope's regular fall term is an evening dedicated to the pastoral care of those who are facing life-issues such as divorce, death and grief, abuse, co-dependency, addictions, self-control and boundaries. It also seeks to provide a network of encouragement and hope, seeking to enrich relationships.  We have many groups including DivorceCare4Kids and Single & Parenting!  For more information on all the groups and to register, click here.

Starting Point   |   Sunday, August 25th   |   12:15-1:30pm   |   The Loft

Starting Point is an environment where you can learn about the Mission, Vision, and Values of our Church and the journey God has taken us on to impact the people in our community! You will also learn about where we are headed as a church and how you can join us in taking your next steps of growth to charge up your faith journey. This event will begin directly after the first service and will include an evening meal.

Connecting Point is an engaging group environment that helps you get connected into the life of our church. In Connecting Point, you will have the opportunity to connect in a small group comprised of people primarily new to FBC. You will meet our elders and some of our key leaders, and learn about our plan to help you grow in your journey with God. You will also have the opportunity to discover how God has wired you to best serve Him.

Special Needs Ministry

The Special Needs Ministry at Fellowship Bible Church is designed to support those with special needs and their families.  Volunteers come alongside persons with special needs, allowing them to more fully participate in the life and activities of the church, while enabling their families to experience worship and fellowship with the church family. SKSK Volunteer Opportunity   |   May 28-May 31st  or July 30-Aug 2 |   8:00 am-4:00 pm

Students entering 7th grade through college age are invited to volunteer this summer at Super Kids Super Kamp. SKSK is offered twice this year. The first Kamp is Tuesday-Friday, May 28-May 31st. The second Kamp is Tuesday through Friday, July 30-August 2. Volunteers will need to be here from 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Volunteers may choose to serve at either Kamp or at both of them.

COLLEGE MINISTRY:

Ignited College Life   |   Thursdays, May 23-August 8th   |   7:00-9:00pm   |   The Loft

This summer our college students will be looking at the Gospel and the impact it has to completely transform lives and call disciples, and how to be disciple makers. With big decisions ahead it is important to put the Gospel at the center of our lives and not loose sight of what really matters.Our goal is to build a community where together we can hangout, live life, and enjoy one of the best summers of our lives! We will meet in The Loft on Thursday nights and hang out afterwards, planning trips for the summer, and worshiping the God of the universe together!

 

SPRING BURN   |    SATURDAY, MAY 25th at 8:00 AM   |   TOPEKA YOUNG LIFE

Come join us for our 5k Walk or 5k/15k Run!  All proceeds from the Spring Burn go to help high school students in Topeka experience the "best week of their life" at Young Life Camp this summer.  Your participation in this event helps students from Topeka High School, Highland Park High School, Washburn Rural High School and Middle School, Shawnee Heights High School and Middle School, Eisenhower Middle School, and Robinson Middle School hear the story of God's love for them in a place that is created just for them. Saturday, May 25th at 8 AM at Fellowship Bible Church, 10th and Urish

All runners get a running shirt and breakfast following the race.  Cost:  $40

LOVE TOPEKA!   |   HI CREST NEIGHBORHOOD COMMUNITY EVENTS:

Hi Crest is one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in the state of Kansas.  There is a monthly event held at Avondale East School where residents of that neighborhood can come and have a safe place to enjoy fellowship and get to know their neighbors. As a ministry of Love Topeka, we volunteer to help with these events.

Men's Golf Tournament   |   June 1, 2013   |  Tee Time 8:00 am   |   Western Hills Golf Course

Join this men's gathering to play golf.  Enjoy fellowship and fun at Western Hills (21st and Auburn Rd). Tee time is 8:00 am on Saturday, June 1st. Cost of this event is $30. Register here by May 31st.

AVAIL   |   Tuesday, June 4   |   6:30-8:30 pm   |   FBC

Avail is a women's ministry event that encourages women into a deeper relationship with God. This Avail will kick-off our summer bible series, "Walking with God in the Desert."  Often desert times are seen as punishment. Through Avail and the study we will come to recognize God's grace, and how to depend on Him for all of our needs.  Join us for teaching, worship, fellowship, traditional Jewish desserts and a special liturgical dance performance.  Registration is limited to 250.

Summer Women's Bible Study   |   Tuesdays, June 11-July 30   |   6:30-8:00 pm   |   Fellowship Hall

In "Walking with God in the Desert" we will explore together how God uses the deserts in our lives much like He used the desert for the Israelites: to teach us to depend on Him for everything we need. This video series is accompanied by a study guide with weekly lessons to do at home. In each faith lesson we will be guided through the desert lands of the Bible and learn the historical, geographical, and cultural context of the Scriptures we are studying. We will also get to enjoy a great time of fellowship with one another in a relaxed environment. The cost of the book is $10.99. You may pay now, at AVAIL, or at the first week of study.

Friday Noon Brown Bag Bible Study   |   2214 SW 10th

Busy women meet weekly for one hour of study and sharing, growing loving relationships with the Lord and each other.
