WORSHIP NIGHT   |   Sunday, August 3   |   6:30 pm   |   FBC Worship Center
On Sunday night, August 3rd at 6:30 pm, we will come together as a church for an extended time of worship and prayer. Don’t miss it! Child care will be provided for ages 0-3.

BAPTISMS   |   August 16 and 17   |  Following each service  
Invite friends and family to see you proclaim your faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ through baptism. If you would like to be baptized, we ask that you sign up below. "My First 50 Days with Jesus" is an excellent opportunity for a new believer to be engaged in an online daily email devotional for 50 days.  This devotional is designed to give you encouragement and perspective. FINDING HOPE    |   Tuesdays, September 9th to November 25th    |   6:30 pm
Finding Hope is an evening dedicated to the pastoral care of those who are facing life-issues such as divorce, death and grief, abuse, co-dependency, addictions, self-control and boundaries. It is a network of small groups that provides encouragement and hope, seeking to enrich relationships. For more information on all the groups and to register, click here.

RE|ENGAGE   |   Tuesday evenings, beginning September 16th   |   6:30 pm
Re|engage is FBC's brand-new marriage enrichment ministry! Marriages in any condition can benefit, whether struggling to get along, broken, or the couple simply wants to grow closer together. Re|engage examines God’s design for marriage and applies principles from the Bible to guide couples towards growth in their relationship with each other. Participants can also expect to receive encouragement by hearing stories from other couples that have experienced victory in the midst of hard times. Participants are also placed in a small group with a facilitator and other couples to work through a 16-lesson curriculum.  More information coming soon!

SHAREFEST   |   Saturday, September 20th, 2014   |   8:00am - 12:00pm
Sharefest is a network of Topeka churches and organizations working together to serve others and to demonstrate the love of Christ to the community. Sharefest was created with the belief that churches can do more together than any one church could do separately to reach out to its community. This year we will serve USD 501 by landscaping, painting, and cleaning up the grounds of area schools. Registration is open to individuals as well as small groups. Join us the second Saturday of every month as we love the people of Topeka. We have outstanding opportunities to share the love of Christ with our community. LOVE TOPEKA!   |   Hi Crest Community Events
As a ministry of Love Topeka, we volunteer in Hi Crest, one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in Topeka. Several events are offered to give neighborhood residents opportunities to enjoy fellowship and build relationships. The events take place at Avondale East School located at 455 SE Golf Park Boulevard. Click here to sign up to help.

BOOK-N-IT |   June 1st-August 1st   |   12:00-1:00 pm   |   Avondale East
Book-N-It is a summer  program designed to feed the youth and teach them how to develop leadership skills such as healthy self-concept, positive choices for their body and mind, managing themselves responsibly, social skills, self-honestly and integrity, civic engagement, and continual self improvement.  Staff and community volunteers interact with, mentor, and teach the youth, leadership skills, and youth development classes.  The goals of Book-N-It are to empower the youth by offering nourishment, reading skills, training and skill development, and  leadership skills and opportunities.  Click here to register.

HI-CREST MISSION TRIP |  August 4th-8th  |  Avondale East  |  $125
Service opportunities for the week include helping run Doxazo camp and restoring houses in the Hi-Crest community. The trip cost is $125, which is 1/10 the cost of a global experience, but you will still have the spiritual growth, discipleship, service opportunities, and community you get from a global experience. Serving at camp, restoring houses, daily worship, listening to Godly speakers, small group time, and fun activities are a few of the many opportunities happening throughout the week. 7-12th Graders-We are kicking off the new school year with FALL BRAWL! We will have a cook out, foursquare, giveaways and a dodgeball tournament. Get your team of 8 people together and have your team captain register below by August 19th to get on the bracket! Please click here to register. 


FRESHMAN CONNECT RETREAT   |  Friday, August 1st   |   6:30 PM 

Freshman connect is an event for all freshman girls! We will have snacks, fellowship, and lots of fun! This night will be focused on building and strengthening relationships with your peers and making connections with older girls.  This event will not be at the church so please check your confirmation e-mail after registering. This free concert event will feature LeCrae, KJ-52, Phil Davis, Tyrone Flowers, and Mitch Langley. The first 8000 people with tickets get in! We have FREE tickets available at the Involvement Center. LAUNCH SKI TRIP EARLY REGISTRATION   |  February 12th-15th |   $220 ($30 Discount)

We are headed back to Sunlight Resort in Glenwood Springs, CO. Our Junior and Senior students will have a weekend of Skiing and developing a vision for their faith away from home as they prepare to go to college. Register by November 30th for the early registration discount by clicking here.

Fellowship Bible Church is providing a bible study for college students this summer on Sunday nights from 8 pm -10 pm in the loft.  This study will begin June 1st.

BROWN BAG STUDY   |   Fridays   |   12:00 pm   |   2214 SW 10th
Busy women meet weekly for one hour of study and sharing, growing loving relationships with the Lord and each other. They meet from Noon to 1:00 pm in central Topeka for those women who desire to come on their limited lunch time. For more information email Fran at fmiller@fbctopeka.com.
