BAPTISMS   |   December 20 and 21   |   Following each service
Invite friends and family to see you proclaim your faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ through baptism. If you would like to be baptized, we ask that you sign up below. Baptisms will take place following each weekend service on December 20 and 21 in the Worship Center. -- Click here to register.


FINDING HOPE    |   Tuesdays, January 20th to April 14th    |   6:30 pm
Finding Hope is an evening dedicated to the pastoral care of those who are facing life-issues such as divorce, death and grief, abuse, co-dependency, addictions, self-control and boundaries. It is a network of small groups that provides encouragement and hope, seeking to enrich relationships. RE|ENGAGE   |   Tuesdays, January 20th to May 12th   |   6:30 pm
Re|engage is FBC's marriage enrichment ministry! Marriages in any condition can benefit, whether struggling to get along, broken, or the couple simply wants to grow closer together. Re|engage examines God’s design for marriage and applies principles from the Bible to guide couples towards growth in their relationship with each other. Participants can also expect to receive encouragement by hearing stories from other couples that have experienced victory in the midst of hard times. Participants are also placed in a small group with a facilitator and other couples to work through a 16-lesson curriculum.  For more information click here. Child care is available! FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY  |   Mondays, January 12th to March 9th  |   6:30 pm
FPU is your Total Money Makeover Program.  It takes Biblical knowledge and principles and turns it into real action in our lives through a step-by-step process taught by best-selling author and financial counselor Dave Ramsey.  FPU is a life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and God's plan for your life.  Some of the topics the course covers include practical lessons on eliminating debt, building wealth and giving like never before.  The next class will start on Monday, January 12, 2015, at 6:30 pm.  To register, click here.

"My First 50 Days with Jesus" is an excellent opportunity for a new believer to be engaged in an online daily email devotional for 50 days.  This devotional is designed to give you encouragement and perspective. SINGLE PURPOSE  |  Monday Nights  |  7pm  | Starts Jan 19th! 
Single purpose is a new ministry of FBC to call and equip single men and women into a relationship with God, His Word and people plus the ministries of FBC. Single purpose is being launched with a four-week study lead by lead pastor Joe Hishmeh. Single-purpose begins on Monday, January 19 at 7 PM.this is a great opportunity to form godly relationships and connection into ministry here at FBC. Click here to register!

Connecting Point will help you get connected into the life of our church.  In Connecting Point, you will have the opportunity to connect in a small group comprised of people primarily new to FBC, while learning about our plan to help you grow in your journey with God, as well as discovering how God has wired you to best serve Him. --Click here to register.

The ministry fair is designed to help get people connected into serving at Fellowship Bible Church.  During this event you will have the opportunity to meet key ministry leaders and learn more about the areas that might interest you.


JESUS IS THE GIFT   |   Through December 24
Live out the Gift of Jesus Christ by being a part of Christmas in Hi-Crest or Christmas in Haiti.  Starting the weekend of November 22 and 23, all of the opportunities will be displayed in the lobby.  These opportunities include:  purchasing gifts for families in Hi Crest, serving at the Hi Crest Affordable Christmas, registering for the Doxazo Mission Trip, purchasing goats for families in Haiti, purchasing gifts for orphans in Haiti, and writing cards to our missionaries.  Click here for more information.

Join us the second Saturday of every month as we love the people of Topeka. We have outstanding opportunities to share the love of Christ with our community. LOVE TOPEKA!   |   Hi Crest Community Events
As a ministry of Love Topeka, we volunteer in Hi Crest, one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in Topeka. Several events are offered to give neighborhood residents opportunities to enjoy fellowship and build relationships. DOXAZO MISSION TRIP   |   Dec 28-31   |   Avondale East School
Be a part of the great commission and attend the Doxazo Mission Trip here in Topeka.  The trip will be December 28-31 and individuals will have the opportunity to love and serve the children and community of Hi Crest.  The three service opportunities for the week include helping run Doxazo Camp, restoring houses in Hi Crest, and serving at the Rescue Mission.  The trip cost is $100, which is 1/15 the cost of a global experience, but you will still have the spiritual growth, discipleship, service opportunities, and community you get from a global experience.  Click here to apply for a partial scholarship.  Click here to register.

You Have an Epic Role to Play
Get threaded into the biggest story of all time.  You're about to experience God's heart for all peoples and encounter the momentum of the World Christian Movement.  Perspectives will open the eyes of your heart with fresh knowledge and understanding of unchanging purposes and why they're relevant to your life.  Perspectives is a fifteen week course designed around four vantage points or "perspectives" - Biblical, Historical, Cultural, and Strategic.  Each one highlights different aspects of God's global purpose.  Classes are on Sundays from January 18th through May 10th at 6:30pm at Western Hills Church, located at 2900 SW Auburn Road.  Click here for more information, or email perspectivesks@gmail.com for more information.

GIRLS BIBLE STUDY  |  Jan 10th  |  5:00 PM

CAMP BARNABAS | JUNE 6-12TH | PURDY, MO

​We are going back to Camp Barnabas this year from June 6-12th to serve students with special needs. This is a powerful opportunity for our students to love and serve other teenagers. Applications for Barnabas are due on DECEMBER 21st and can be downloaded here

 

GAME CHANGER   |  Wednesdays, January 14 - February 11   |   6:30 am   |   Fellowship Hall
This is a five-week study series for men that will begin on January 5th.  Join Pastor Joe Hishmeh as we study God's plan for authentic manhood.  This study can be a Game Changer for you!  Designed for men of all ages and circumstance, we will meet weekly for one hour of study and discussion.  For more information email Frank Eschmann at feschmann@fbctopeka.com. MEN'S RETREAT  |   Friday to Sunday, February 20-22    |   Rock Springs Conference Center
Join Fellowship Men for a weekend retreat at the Rock Springs Conference Center near Junction City.  The retreat will focus on "Fathering", exploring all aspects  of fatherhood, from being a father to being fathered!  Nearly 750 acres of relaxing Flint Hills countryside is the home of this retreat.  Providing "suite-like" cabins, conference facilities, and lots of adventure activities, men will share an extended time of teaching and fellowship, with opportunity to grow in relationships with the Lord and each other. BROWN BAG STUDY   |   Fridays   |   12:00 pm   |   2214 SW 10th
Busy women meet weekly for one hour of study and sharing, growing loving relationships with the Lord and each other. They meet from Noon to 1:00 pm in central Topeka for those women who desire to come on their limited lunch time. For more information email Fran at fmiller@fbctopeka.com.


WOMEN'S TUESDAY BIBLE STUDIES   |   September 9-April 14   |   9:30 am and 6:30 pm
Join us for an exciting year as we journey through the book of Acts and study how the early Church, through the power of the Holy Spirit, carried the gospel across the Roman Empire. Together, we will gain a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit's work in our own lives, and we will grow through excellent teaching, participating in fellowship and discussion with other women, and discover new insights in God's Word. This study will run through the Autumn and Spring semesters. There is a one-time fee of $35 that covers the materials for the entire year.
