Tech.Arts

setting the stage for the King of kings…

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” (Romans 10:14). And without a trained, skilled technician running the sound system, how can they hear? The Tech.Arts Team works behind the scenes to creatively and effectively enhance each weekend service through quality media and technical support. The Tech.Arts Team is comprised of volunteers (both experienced and inexperienced) who serve as Producers, Sound Engineers, Lighting & Video Technicians, and Stage & Set Crew. They work together to ensure that all media and technical elements of the services are carried out with excellence.

Tech.Arts FAQS

Who gets involved with the Tech.Arts Team?
Anyone with a desire to see FBC's worship services be the best they can be.  The Tech.Arts Team is made up of Producers, Video Editors, Sound Engineers, Lighting & Video Technicians, and Stage & Set Crew, who consider FBC their church home. Our backgrounds range from active professionals to those with no prior experience, but we strongly believe in "making" Tech.Arts crew people of anyone with a desire to learn.  We use an on-the-job training approach to work with you, regardless of your skill level.

What does the Tech.Arts Team do?
The Tech.Arts Team produces the graphic/video/lyric elements you see on screen each week.  We use these elements to draw people in to the services, support message points and to promote church wide events. We are responsible for stage direction, setting up and operating the sound, lighting, video, and stage equipment used to create the look and feel of the worship services.

The crew on the Tech.Arts Team strongly believes that an effective use of media and technology has great power to support and enhance the message of the church.   We're passionate about implementing these areas with creativity and excellence, and willing to do whatever it takes to help create transformational moments in people's lives.
