How Do I Become A Small Group Leader?

Throughout the ministry year, we will have new leader information meetings. These are “no strings attached” meetings where we talk through leader roles and expectations. The information meetings are followed by personal interviews. Then new leaders are asked to participate in Connecting Point to find people for their new small group.
Why Do We Need Small Group Leaders?
Because people are looking for and need leadership. Our desire is that leaders will facilitate a group of 8-12 people in a home. Leaders serve by opening homes, facilitating discussions and encouraging others through interactive Bible study, fellowship, caring, serving and authenticity.
What Is A Small Group?
A leader is, first and foremost, committed to Jesus Christ. A small group leader is energized by seeing people connect in deep and meaningful relationships with God and one another. Values of hospitality, trust, service, encouragement, prayer, a love for God's word, and authenticity are clearly held and seen in the lives of small group leaders.
