Surge Students we are super excited about Fall Retreat this year even though it will look very different than in years past. This year, we are staying here locally and it is happening Friday and Saturday, November 6-7. See schedule below. The theme this year is Live Differently. While our lives have looked different because of all the "stuff" happening around us, what would it look like to live differently as a result of finding and following Christ?
One of the ways we are practically doing this is by doing mission projects here in Topeka: We will spend Saturday afternoon helping people in our church and serving other organizations in Topeka.
On Friday night, students will also be staying in host homes with their Community Group (or a couple of Community Groups together). All host homes are leaders in our ministry and have been vetted and background checked.

*During the weekend, each small group will function as a “pod”. Pods will stay together, eat together, travel together & sit together. Masks and Social Distancing will not be required while students are in their pods, with the exceptions of the 3 worship sessions (which will fall under the mass gathering rule) and their time at Skyzone, where all participants will follow whatever guidelines they have in place.
If you are not comfortable with your student being placed in a pod, we would still love to have them join us for our 3 sessions of worship and teaching, as well as our service component on Saturday afternoon
